Congratulations to our friends Richard and Travis at Big Stereo, who today announced the first release on the new Big Stereo records, which is going to be a single by Baby Monster. As this is titled “Big001″ – we’re hoping this is going to be the first of many.
Travis, as you’d expect, loves the record,
it is one of those rare tracks that you will find constantly creeping into your life every day, every hour, every minute, repeat and repeated.
This will be released on a limited run of vinyl, digitally and digitally on iTunes. You can Pre-order the release for $6. Will be interesting to see if they pull in any remixers to promote this, or if indeed they ever give away the full copy on the blog.
Big Stereo joins other blogs like Palms Out Sounds and Discobelle who have both started releasing physical records. How long until CRLS at Hipster Runoff joins in the fun by releasing a compilation of fake releases from the likes of Justice and Daft Punk?

Aw, thanks for the support!
We have some excellent remixes from Golden Bug, Jocks and Seams that’ll be rolling out soon. Also, it’s still our belief that music is best when shared so yes, we’ll be giving out the mp3s!
